Safari tour is one of the most popular tours in Dubai.
They pick you up from hotel, drive by 4W drives in desert, you settled in some traditional arabic tents and enjoy arabic dance, food and smokes ;)
 

 
 

   

You see, I'd take that tour without a moments hesitation. Looks like a lot of fun to me.

A terrific action shot, love the swirling sand and that feeling of immense drive and horsepower

Must be great to go to the desert... and as you've mentionned, be settled in a tent... Dubai sems to be so interesting as far as modern architecture is concerned... so many differeces between life in the desert and this modern city...

I would really enjoy such a safari tour (except the smoke). Great effect in the sand cloud sprayed up by the 4-wheeler, nice composition.

I guess I always pictured a safari on camel back, but this way looks a lot more efficient. Great capture of the swirling sand. Looks like fun.
