I like this composition a lot, the stormy cloud cover provide a perfect ambiance to these now extinct thundering canons.

So dramatic with the gloriously ominous cloudscape. A wonderful composition

Are the cannon pointed south to keep those English foreigners out? :-)
Terrific shot with the dark skies.

The good thing about this, Arash, is that they clearly have a vantage point of being up high! I do love that brooding sky, too. :)

A wonderful composition. I like the dramatic feel!

I don't know why people hate overcast sky. In my view, it's the most beautiful the sky can look. See how beautifully it is composing itself with the fort!

The dramatic sky gives a nice atmosphere for those canons and old stones.

a magnificent fortress that, with the condition of the gun is still good. If this fortress can talk, then he will be telling stories about events that occurred in this fortress. Good photographs. Regards form Yogyakarta City, INDONESIA.

Those dark clouds mean there's a storm coming.... those fuses on the cannons will never burn then! :)

The dramatic clouds are the perfect backdrop for the cannons - ominous.
