Many years ago?? I wonder if there are some places where they still do it today, Arash? Even the door handles tell which is men and which is women! Amazing. Yes, the symmetry really works here. The great divide!

Shab Beh'khayr, I saw the same custom on doors in Tunisia, very good photo, but I find the watermarks a bit distracting. Maybe they could be moved a bit more towards the edges?

A pleasure of the eyes, photo pleasure, on your premise. This door is a pure wonder, probably made with the hand, noble wood element. A framing very good colors naturalness, without saturation, very beautiful composition unit.
